The Lincoln Lawyer (Furman, 2011)

The Lincoln Lawyer (Brad Furman, 2011)

This will be short. I watched this movie the other day and it met almost every one of my expectations of an average movie. It didn’t showcase any special characteristics that would cause it to stand out above a good Law & Order episode, and it was entertaining and uninsulting enough to be a decent watch. If you like a movie where the plot and character’s motivations are revealed bit by bit with several twists and turns along the way, this is probably for you. None of the performances stand out, no technical features shine, but no real deterrents exists either. Take it for what it is.  6/10
