  1. Although I can appreciate many of the names on this list, and greatly respect the work of many of them, I am (as always) highly disappointed by the sincere lack of women represented. I’m not implying that you are biased against women directors, but instead am pointing out the lack of support in general to women in the arts. It is a very sad state.

  2. I noticed the same thing – Amazing that particular field has been so difficult for women to break into.

  3. Yes, I need to find more female directors to watch. You ladies are now in charge of researching female directors and letting me know what’s out there. =)

  4. No Christopher Nolan?

    • Nah, Nolan is #58. I like most of his movies, but I don’t really love any of them.

      By the way, is this my brother or my ole Blockbuster chum?
